I am enthusiast first and foremost.
Starting with high end consumer computing - I was no stranger when it came to getting the most out of my gear. From pushing the Pentium 3 333mhz to 400mhz, to slapping custom cooling on my Radeon R9 290X, and overclocking my Korean 1440p IPS monitors to 120hz. I love getting into cool stuff and making it even cooler.
Along with high end computing, high end audio just made sense. In a span of 2 years I've gone from the Apple earphones to my first big jump into headphones with Tyll's Wall of Fame: the Logitech UE6000. From then on its been a fun ride to my first planars in the Hifiman 400, then the 400i and bit the bullet and picked up the glorious Sennheiser HD800.
Part of many communities such as overclock.net | highdefjunkies (my Panasonic plasma is the center of my home theatre) | headfi and reddit's /r/headphone subreddit - I realize I can help fellow enthusiasts with their own space of happiness. Providing cool things to other Canadians is also a nice bonus!
While custom cables can bring about subjective changes to the sound of an audiophile's setup, it can greatly impact the style and atmosphere. Hivemind Cables will always try to create something that let's people express themselves when it comes to the way they listen to their music.
